When you are looking to add a WOW factor to your property, talk to CMC Aluminium about domestic-aluminium.

If you are extending your house and wish to include bi-folding or sliding doors we can work with your builder to co-ordinate the installation.  Let us know when the builder starts your job and we can organise the metal ready for the installation. Once the builder has completed the opening, we will come along and measure the opening to ensure that the doors or windows fit correctly into the opening.  Then your windows, doors or roof will go into production.

You want to be sure if you are changing your doors that they are secure. All our locks conform to PAS 24. Pas 24 became effective on 28th January 2016 and is a method for testing and assessing the performance of doorsets and windows of all material types. The standard covers composite, sliding and bi-folding doors.  The locks have been subjected to an attack to test that ensure that they met the standards.
Your project may also need to met a "U-Value" The lower the U-value the more effective a material is as a heat insulator. It is a measure of the transfer of heat through a material.  You can read more energy efficiency here.  You can also find out more about the glass and glazing that we use. We are a member of the Planitherm Network.
In 2015 new regulations came into force called the Construction Management Regulations - these mean that the domestic / homeowners are now included in the regulations and must comply with all Health and Safety laws. If you are employing an architect or principal contractor / builder these regulations will largely be their responsibility. CMC Aluminium takes the responsibility for Health and Safety very seriously - you can see our accreditations here.
